Google's little helpers

Google's little helpers
From the beginning of the Google+, all the way in the mists of last June, it has been clear to the community that here we have something very special. The platform is perhaps not the most straightforward to use, and needs more learning and 'how-to's than some others. However, the gain is on another level too, for those who take the time to immerse themselves in Google+.
Help has always been on hand. I remember being one of the few non-techies around in June but that wasn't a problem: There was always someone who knew the answers and was willing to lend a helping hand if I got stuck.
The names from the early adopter era that spring to mind are Robert Scoble, Tom Anderson, Mike Elgan, Chris Brogan. Mohamed Mansour Alida Brandenburg Christina Trapolino and Natalie Villalobos.
Then came Ahmed Zeeshan with his guides and Johnathan Chung with his advice and Sociolog+. Denis Labelle has been very consistent in producing good stuff.
Even the Google guru's like Bradley Horowitz or Frances Haugen replied to my distress calls (when I was writing my Google+ Guide in Finnish) and gave excellent advice to me, explaining some of the points so that even a blonde could understand them... :-)
But out of all the Googlers my favourite person must be Brian White who came through always when I called even though it was not his domain I was unsure about.
Since those times there is born a small army of helpful Plussers, they have been listed and all:

New ones come along all the time like the circle I recently shared shows:

I must mention here some of the latest helpers:
Johan Horak Rahul Roy Shamil Weerakoon Brian Gundersen martin shervington Ronnie Bincer
Yifat Cohen with her helpful Hangouts about Google+ use in business needs a special mention, along with the business guru's:
Gideon Rosenblatt Chris Lang Mark Traphagen
I'm really grateful for the whole Google+ community for making the 'stay' here so very nice. A bit too nice, sometimes... :-)
With these future HIRLs taking place also in Europe, it will be charming to meet people face-to-face! Hope many of you will be able to join!
Pic credit among lots of hat tipping goes to Gabriel Vasile
