I wanted to avoid teaching, but it is the family business.
I wanted to avoid teaching, but it is the family business. I was the eldest son, supposed to be the one in the Family to get out and into a more respectable profession, but it didn't work out that way. Ultimately, I became even more ruthless in my pedagogy than those who had gone before. Basically, I'm the Michael Corleone of teaching.
I'm just the Bart Simpson of classes :)
ReplyDeleteI'm the Neville Chamberlain of metaphors.
ReplyDeleteAlso: teachers are rock stars. I wish that fact was more reflected in their salaries or public recognition. It should be. Cheers to you all!
ReplyDeleteScott Townley, I feel you. I am also there for the baby geeks.
ReplyDeleteYou keep trying to get out, Barry Cochran , and they keep pulling you back in.
