I hope Ryan is wrong in this quote.

I hope Ryan is wrong in this quote. If Ayn Rand did the best job of explaining the "morality of capitalism" than capitalism is an ugly and brutal system that wrecks lives and the human spirit. Rand would have the disabled, the elderly, the sensitive and those with a bad head for business destroyed and left behind in a horrifying social experiment. She was a Social Darwinist long after anyone else with any sense of morality had moved on from Social Darwinism and was, by all accounts, simply a dreadful human being. As someone with a disabled sibling-- and as a humanist-- I find her reprehensible, I find the worship of her by a major candidate frightening, and I find this VP choice further proof-- as if we needed any-- that Mitt Romney has no soul.

  1. t also proves that Rand Paul has no brain, inasmuch as Ayn Rand's system expressly rejects the very idea of morality.

  2. I felt that little dark hollow place in the pit of my stomach when I heard the VP was going to be him. Democrats should not rejoice just yet. The voting public (the ones left after this whole voter fraud BS excuse for leaving out so many of us that have no other voice) is not as savy or well informed as they might think.
