Just realized I hadn't introduced myself. I managed to be pretty far left in Texas for thirty years, but you can only swim against the stream for so long. Portland is easier, and I love the mountains and rivers. You still have to fight for liberal values here, but at least it's a fight that can be won, sometimes.
