Okay, Portland, when we were talking about "ending the drought" all weekend, it was a metaphor for the Timbers being in the first championship match in forty years and then winning their first MLS Cup. Okay? We weren't exactly asking for relief from a literal drought, at least not this much relief. We didn't need all the rain at once.
