So I was dictating a text to my spouse that Willamette (the street) was closed. I pronounced Willamette correctly and Google transcribed it correctly, but then said "Will-uh-met" when reading the text back to me. Which means Google Assistant knows damn well the correct pronunciation of our river but just chooses not to use it. Aye tell yoo whut, Google is skating on thin ice right now.
